Winding Roads Books & More takes in used paperbacks for store credit. The trade –  in value will be determined at the time of trade and an offer made. (We reserve the right to refuse for any reason.)Credit will expire in 45 days.

Store Credit can be used same day or later for up to 50% of a purchase. (For instance, if you wish to purchase $10 of used books, and have $6 of credit, you may only use $5 of this credit toward this purchase. The remainder, including all sales tax, would be paid in cash, credit or debit card.)

Store Credit may be used for the purchase of Used books only.

Store Credit may not be used toward New Books, Merchandise (Bookmarks, Pencils, Candy, Etc.), or Clearance/Bargain Table Items.

Guidelines for what we accept:

We accept paperback fiction of all genres.

We accept books that are categorized as Science, Biography, Hobby books, Cook Books, History, Sports, Psychology and other general interest topics.

We accept Children’s, Young Reader and Teen/Young Adult books.

We accept some hardcovers, including books released within the past year, books currently on school reading lists, recent non-fiction and others that are considered ‘hot sellers’, subject to our discretion.

We do not accept text books or dated material such as travel guides. We do not accept Children’s titles that are ‘write - in, fill - in’ or sticker books.

We reserve the right to refuse any book at any time due to overstock or condition.

A note on condition: We cannot accept any books without covers. We also cannot take damaged or mildewed books. Rule of Thumb? … If you wouldn't loan the book to a friend in the condition it's in, we probably cannot accept it.
